The drive from the apartment, through town, and out to the country is a neat one. It doesn't take very long, mostly because the majority of it is in the city and he has to respect the speeds and all that, but once he's outside the limits, he opens up and lets the car fly a bit. It's a good little speedster, though he's not reckless in the way he drives at all. Just fast.
They reach the stables, and Tommy takes a moment to circle the property and let her see the expanse of it, the wide paddocks and long run out traces, the lunging and training rings. In the end, he parks on one of the fields near a tack shed. They're not very far away from the main building, but they're decidedly alone on their end of parking.
